This year’s toolkits are greatly expanded and not only include
all of the standards alignment documents and student worksheets
we have created in the past, but the instructional strategies
handbooks related to the various domains of the ELA standards. We
have also created Excel workbooks for the ELA standards K-6 which
correlate every blueprint standard with the phrasing from the
released test questions for the CST. These workbooks have columns
for teacher planning aligned with CST academic language, along
with columns for benchmark pacing. Our goal is to support
teachers in standards aligned planning so that students and
teachers can get credit for their hard work on the CST.
